What classes do you offer?

We currently run under two age categories: Story Apprentices (birth to confidently walking) and Story Adventurers (confident walkers to 4 years old).

Is my baby too young to join?

Our classes are appropriate from birth to the age of 4 years. You can attend with your baby whenever you feel you are both ready to take part in a group. Your baby is likely to be very sleepy for the first few weeks, only waking up in short bursts. Our classes are fun, friendly and relaxed for both you and baby to enjoy sensory activities and make some new friends.

My child is walking but unsteady. Which class is best to join?

If your child is just starting to walk, I would advise the younger class. Whilst the older class is more active and better suited to walkers, you may want your child to be more confident on their feet as this group can have children up o the age of 4 years. If you are unsure, contact the class leader to help with your decision.

Do you offer a taster session?

Yes we do. Taster sessions can be booked for £6 if a space is available in the class you are interested in. After this class, if you want to continue, the rest of the term is payable prior to the next class.

Can I join a class part way through a term?

If there is a space available then yes. These can be booked via our find a class page.

How many children are in a class?

We can have a maximum of 15 participating children in each class.

How long does the class last for?

Each class lasts 45 minutes.

Can my partner/friend/mum come with me?

Yes. You may bring another adult with you.

Where can I park?

Many of our locations have free car parks attached to them. However, please check your individual location for parking.

How much is a class?

Here at Story Sense, we take bookings in half termly blocks. A half term is generally 6 weeks which costs £36 (occasionally there is a 5 week block as we run alongside school terms and the price is changed to reflect this). So each session works out at just £6. Sometimes we run free taster sessions so keep an eye out for these or feel free to ask.
